Rural Action Derbyshire (formerly Derbyshire Rural Community Council) is an independent organisation and registered
charity. Established in 1924, it is a county-wide organisation
supporting people in rural communities, villages and
market towns.
Rural Action Derbyshire works in close partnership with
other agencies to help Derbyshire’s rural communities
tackle the challenges and opportunities they face –
both now and in the future.
RAD is part of The Rural Community Action Network, headed up by ACRE – the national network of Rural Community Councils -
and
Rural Community Action East Midlands.
