“The day is a chance for the people of Aldercar and Langley Mill to meet up, find out more about what’s happening already and to consider the prospects for the community,” comments Joe Dugdale, one of the project officers working with the community.
He adds, “We are working closely with all corners of the community, including local societies, the parish council, the schools, the churches, and people of all ages to make this a fascinating day. We hope the event will kick-start some valuable work on behalf of the community so we urge as many people as possible to come along.”
