Our Work - Farming

DRCC are able to advise and signpost individuals and organisations to a wide range of local, regional and national farming related bodies.

DRCC is also involved in:

  • Supporting activities at the newly developed Farming Life Centre near Taddington
  • Attending meetings and conferences related to the Food and Farming Strategy for the East Midlands
  • Developing links with food producers and local farmers to establish locally sourced food supplies
  • Co-ordination of the Rural Health Information Centre at Bakewell’s Livestock Market which offers a wide range of information and advice for farmers

A Rural Health Clinic is available at the Agricultural Business Centre in Bakewell.
