Village Halls and Community Buildings

DRCC's Village Halls and Community Buildings service offers:

• Advice and support for village halls and community buildings management committees on such matters as trust deeds, leases, charitable status, insurance, legislation and all aspects of management.
• Information about sources of grant-aid for village halls and guidance on preparing funding applications.
• Training events for village halls and local charity management committees.
• Process applications for the Countryside Agency Village Halls Loan Fund.
• The production of Village Hall News and Information five/six times a year.

Helen works closely with the Village Halls Advisory Service at Action with Rural Communities in Rural England (ACRE), and attends regular training events to keep up to speed with the wide ranging issues faced by village hall management committees.
